A rare ?donkra? -- a hybrid of a male donkey and female zebra -- was born at a Xiamen Haicang Zoo in China this past Sunday, Examiner reports.
The crossbred animal appears to have a head resembling its donkey father, but with legs striped like its zebra mother.
According to 3 News, there were some complications with the birth, but with the help of a veterinarian the animal was delivered successfully.
Donkras are far less common than zebroids, hybrids born of zebra stallions and donkey mares, SBS reports.
